was nineteen years old, and, not uncommon among many
first-timers, I didn’t yet know what I probably needed to
know. This confidence (coupled with a joyfully juvenile
naivety) gave way to what has become quite a raw, largely
unfiltered and purposefully unpolished collection of
poetry, prose, musings and vignettes that is probably
going to read like an aspiring writer with some promise
